Take a hammer and a stick of wood, say about 12" long, place the end of the
piece of wood against the inner rim of the wire wheel.  Tap the stick with
the hammer until you can jar the wheel loose.  I'm not talking about
"banging" anything w/the hammer, just tapping until it breaks loose.  Also,
we used to use a propane (not acytlene{spelling}) to heat the wheel.  It
doesn't get hot enough to detemper the wheel, but I'm not sure if that would
hurt the chrome.  Just a thought.
