Also, don't forget that Brad has an early TR4; could easily have
originally (or subsequently) fitted with a hand crank. There was a thread
a while back about engines not lining up with the crank- the solution was
to shim the motor mounts up (1/2? or less) until the hand crank mated up
with the cranshaft dogs.
I wonder if TR3 motore mounts are bigger? Or TR6? It's so hard to tell
what's been done to these cars after 35 years of tender, loving (?)
care... and not all of use bought 'em new :-)
FWIW CT10339L does not seem to have a lot of room under the crank
extension. I've never changed the belt yet tho %-)
