Hoo boy. Now I'M really confused as well. Guess I'd better try this
myself again. Admittedly, the last time I did it was with a "locked" rear
end. Obviously that time I didn't stop one wheel.
Next time I'll simply suggest opening the case and counting teeth on
crown wheel and pinion. :-)
