I must say, I'd be intrigued to see and would very seriously consider
buying an unregistered unmolested spit, but I'd have to make the point that
it's also unmaintained and virtually every piece of rubber including
caliper/wheel cylinder bits, brake hoses, radiator and heater hoses, tires,
belts, master and slave cylinders, etc., would need to be replaced pro
forma, and I'd be seriously concerned about things like seals in
engine/transmission/differential/axle/wheel bearings, too
therefore, I'm skeptical that a 20 year old unmolested unregistered car is
worth as much as the perfect restorations that might fetch $6000
