Gosh I asked this question no more than 2 weeks ago and got a resounding
silence.
Long story short ... Go to triple carbs, two under the hood and one on the
dash! I added a pressure tap to the top of one of the carbs under the hood
and connected it, via a long hose, to the top of the carb on my dash (does
look rather odd). Since the two chambers are at the same pressure the piston
height will be identical (yeah there is a very slight difference but I dare
anyone to measure it). When combined with dual EGO sensors you get a real
interesting story about what the carbs are doing at any instant at time.
Let me know where you live Bud and I'll be more than happy to demonstrate
this cobbled up system of mine.
The real problem is to watch where you are driving while looking at all the
gauges.
