Hmm, how 'bout the TR6?  It's somewhat German.

What about the Italia?  It weren't meant for sale in the UK.  Is it the
same thing?

(just so's I don't get me head bitten off... were the Italias built in
Coventry or somewhere in Italy?)

And the little Triumph-badged 4 wheel drive job (roughly the size of a
wheelbarrow) that saw service in India?

If they can build it, and it's good, then I say it's OK.  Personally I
would like to see a front-engined, rear-drive, body-on-frame car.  Call me
a traditionalist, but I resent the plastic-enrobed "sports cars" of today.

Ah yes, but changing what IS doesn't change what WAS.  And that's what
we're all enthusiastic about, no?
