Point taken. I'd like to get a proper leak-down test, to see if I can
eliminate rings as a problem (and even find out which valves, if any, are
bad). Can't seem to find anyone with the equipment, however. Maybe I should
make a sparkplug-thread adaptor for a tire hose, and do it myself, at the
local servo!
