Hello all:
Thanks for all the responses on the lighter install. This coming weekend I
plan on installing the radio and lighter at the same time. Three lingering
questions for the group:
1) The stereo I bought (shaft-style Pioneer - required only one hours-worth
of Dremel activity on the Center Dash Support) has two power leads. The
red on is to be connected to the ignition. I'm assuming I can attach this
to one of the empty "aux" terminals on the ignition switch. The other is
an orange lead that needs to go to something that is live all the time, I
guess for the clock and presets. Any ideas where the best and easiest
place to connect this would be?
2) The lighter will be used primarily for either cell phone or radar
detector. I'm thinking of using the other "aux" terminal for this, as I
really only need it "hot" when the car is running. Can anyone suggest the
proper in-line fuse amperage?
3) I'm thinking of running grounds from the radio and lighter to one of the
bolts on the floor that are holding the dash support. Will this be ok?
Thanks for your advice.

PS - I bought small self-contained 120W Jensen speakers which are surface
mount. I'll velcro them to the rear ledge, and remove them when the car is
un-occupied. They sound fair, but were only $49 at Best Buy
