There was a statement in your post I just felt I needed to correct.You may wish
to
review your policy or ask your agent; every homeowners policy specifically
excludes
coverage for motor vehicles -regardless if they are in your garage or not. This
is a
common misconception and my reason for correcting it is not a personal flame,
just
wanted to correct the mis-information for the list.
My policy reads: Coverage C- Personal Property
Property Not Covered
2. motor vehicles or their component parts, including
those
being assembled, constructed or reconstructed.
So, if I lose that motorcyle in parts I've wanted to rebuild that I have in my
garage, I'm just out.
