On the back of the Oct/Nov. issue of Triumph World is an add for  a
BRAND NEW rack for TR 4-6, Spitifre, Herald, Vitesse, and GT  6 "from L
152.75"  (english pounds)   

The neat thing is that lock to lock is 2.5 turns, instead of the
standard 3.5...

Maybe you should consider this as your conversion!!
