Steel wool on Chrome... dead horse thread. I certainly disagree with
you, but been there, done that.
Gasoline as a cleaner... BAD IDEA... no matter how good it may be, it's
a bad habit to start... someone else sees you doing it...(another adult,
a teen, a kid) and copies you later.. in his own kitchen, for example...
on that nasty trail of oil between the garage and the sink, ... and...
BLAM.... He's destroyed his home and scarred or killed himself and/or
his family.
Gasoline should be used for combustion, period.
No matter how "safe" minded YOU may be... or how well you think it works
for you... it is simply a bad habit and sets a bad example for others.
In the application that started this thread... LAQUOR THINNER works
great. It's the solvent probably used to spray that paint!
