Is this common to put in this type of engine? Does this cause problems

Steve - I haven't heard or read about transplanting a 13B rotary into
a TR6, but I do know that Grassroots Motorsports magazine staff
recently completed a rotary Spitfire project car. I believe they used
the 13B motor and I seem to recall they had to do A LOT of metal
fabication to get it to fit properly. The 13B is, indeed, a very
compact motor, but size is only part of the issue (ask any woman).

The alignment of the output shaft is important, choice of transmission
and bellhousing, clutch release assembly, etc. You should try to get
some of the back issues of Grassroots Motorsport - it would help you
     determine where the problems are.
