Hi Guys,
I tried installing my top bows or hood sticks and have found a problem.
You know how on a TR3A the part closest to the body folds in half and
swings around pointing towards the front of the car. Well mine does not
clear the rear wheel well. Do I have the wrong bows? I would like to
check a measurement. Center of bolt hole to body to the center of the
hinge. Mine is 4 1/2 inches. Could I be missing a piece of mounting
hardware? I have it bolted over a washer directly to the interior piece.
Please measure this piece for me, My car is a 59 TR3A.
Tonneau question. Do any of you have a tonneau for the later TR3A's that
has a relief cut at the top rear corners of the door opening? In other
words the rear most point of the side curtain. OK, do I put a snap on
both layers or a hole and a snap? Is this a good tonneau? I haven't made
any holes yet, so I could still return it.
