Hoodsticks:
How many holes are in each mounting bracket? The right TR3A hoodsticks have
2 holes in each mounting bracket. It sounds like you have the wrong
hoodsticks. TR4's have only one mounting hole, maybe you have a set of TR4
hoodsticks. BTW, I have an extra set of TR3 hoodsticks if you find you have
the wrong ones. I could email you a pict of what the right ones look like.
Tonneau:
My tonneau has a round grommet installed that goes on the stud first, then
the fabric in sort of folded, and the lift the dot fastener is installed on
the same stud. I can snap a picture and email it if you want to see how the
snaps and the grommet go.
