Use a lower temp. thermostat.
If you can, get a radiator core that has more tubes in it. I had a Spit.
that heated alot, but the core was only a 2-tube core. I re-cored it and
got a 3-tube. Problem solved.
Also, the gasket idea is a good one. Also, call British Car Specialists,
ask for Michael (Parts) and ask him about your gasket...(209)-948-8767
explain your problem. This is the place that I get all my parts from,
and since they're in town, it's very convienent.
