I think I figured out how the "Girling Demon Removal" brake repair works:
I tried it, and it worked :-)
When you compress the brake system (pump it up), you're causing the
bubbles inside to grow smaller. I expect, that given time, these bubbles
would work themselves out (!!) somehow. Under compression, I calculated
approx. 1250 psi inside the system. I could be wrong.
Under that kind of pressure, a bubble an inch long would contract to less
than 1/32 of an inch long. Stuck-no-more! Said tiny bubble would then be
able to go back through the system and out the reservoir. At least,
that's my semi-educated guess.
Anyone else...?
