Hi list,

I was going through he carbs on the '72 GT6 ( which by the way is going
to be picked up by its' new owner tomorrow ) and removed the fuel bowl.

One was fine ( except a lot of varnish and 'tar' in side ) the other the
float was broken off.

There is a clip that the float mounts to. The clip is held to the body
of the carb by two pegs....pins... steps...Whatever one might want to
call them. The clip is held to the carb body by two pieces of the same
material that the carb body is made of and on one of the carbs the clip
has broken off the two pegs and is bouncing around inside the float bowl.

Anyone else ever see this and if so, what did you do to fix it? I'm
going to try to drill some holes, tap it, and use some small screws
unless anyone else has a better idea. JB Weld maybe?

TIA
