Hello Peter and list, I have not tried this, but maybe spot-welding would work. The big hardware suppliers should be able to give you about any thread you desire, in a nut with the little tits on it to spot-weld securely to sheet metal such as the dust cap. Tom `2-center' Tweed SW Ohio |
