I see your point, but for someone like me, who has to double-check
to see if he's installed the battery to the proper cables, the dif-
ferences between Carb and PI, Left-hand vs. Right-hand steer, and
the changing emergency flashers, seat belt interlock, etc., etc.,
made for some serious head-scratching when trying to read the UK
spec diagram and apply (or delete, if not applicable) the diagram
to the wires I found on the car - some of which had been altered
and/or replaced by a PO, without keeping to the color codes.
I had to do the same as Phil, cross-check with the Bentley, and
still had to use the V-O meter, finally, to be sure.
