OK, OK. Please no more responses! I have already recieved at least 10 positive answers (none negative) about running the engine on SOLIDLY supported jackstands. Basic advice is stay as clear as possible, just in case, and don't do anything stupid. Thanks to everyone who answered in this first few minutes, but shouldn't you guys (and I) be working?
