Hey folks,
I've been knocking around the idea of ditching the ZS carb on my 79 Spit
for a Weber. A question though:
Dual Side-Draft, Single Side-Draft, or Single Down-Draft???
I don't really have the $$$ for the dual, so unless someone can give me
a really good reason, I'll probably pass on it. So what are the
differences (performance, cost, reliability, whatever) between the side-
and down-draft? What about emissions issues w/ Webers? I'll soon be
moving to Los Angeles, so I know that smogging might be a problem. What
is the group's experience with Webers?
Oh, one other (suspension) question: Spax or Konis? The Spit is my
daily driver, so I want better performance, but don't want to get beat
to death each day.
