I recently had a similar problem om my '74 TR6. The plugs I had in looked
good, but they had about 8 or 10 thousand on them. Replaced them and what a
difference! Try the NGK plugs - I really like them.
Some of the other, more experienced TR6 owners in my club (the Triumph
Travelers of Sunnyvale, CA - yes, that was a plug!) tell me that the '6
needs frequent plug replacements. YMMV.
