yes, you may have two problems, but this is CLASSIC ignition problems
W/ increasing rpm, ign. misfires 'go away' as everything is working so quickly.
Check EVERYTHING from the plugs back to the coil. Look for crappy
plug, wires...check the points very carefully (wouldn't it be great to
have a clear dizzy cap!).
