Low Gauge Readings.

I posted a message inquiring about voltage stablilizers a few days ago. Now
I'm not so sure that my low readings at the fuel and temp gauges are being
caused by the stablilizer.

Both gauges read about 1/3 too low, but when I bypass the stablilizer they
seem to read fine. The car is a MkII Spitfire, with an Alternator
conversion (negative ground, if this helps). I've tried three different
stablilizers with no change in the readings. Is there something else I
should be looking at?

I'd like to get this fixed, as I just installed an electric fan and would
like to know when to turn it on, as I haven't installed the thermostat for
it yet.

Thanks alot! Tom

"So you're going to take us for a ride eh?"
"Yeah, come on"
"Well I don't have a sister!"
"That's ok we no gotta car!"
