Why are you looking for outdated technology? There are so many better tires
out there, why red-lines? Are you looking for originality and looks over
function?

I'm not being critical; Ok, so I am being critical, but it sure seems like a
tremendous waste of time, effort and $.

I spoke with Tom Cavolina at Tire Buying Service in Elmsford, NY. He thinks
you're crazy, too. Only source is Coker in Tennessee. Their current catalog
price is $170, plus tax, plus shipping and then you have tubes and only
Michelin makes them, don't know the price but $20 each is probably about right.
So, for a mere $1000 or so you can have 30 year old technology.

Why don't you call Tom and ask him for good alternatives. 1-914-592-3750.

OK, now you have my $ .02 as well.
