As stated earlier posts there is no bellhousing with a 5 & 6 bolt engine
mount pattern. There is a Ford "narrow" & "wide" (dual) transmission
pattern bellhousing which will fit early and late Tiger transmissions.
It is from a Ford Econoline van, I don't know the Ford part number but
the casting number on the bellhousing is # C5TA-6394-A. This is a (cast
iron) 6 bolt bellhousing to engine with the two transmission bolt
patterns. This bellhousing is not a "direct fit" replacement. It also
requires a larger 14" flywheel so the starter will engage the ring gear,
a larger "engine block plate" (between the engine and bellhousing), and
larger input shaft bearing retainer. There is also some clearance
problems with the standard starter and exhaust pipe as the starter is
farther out.
Another option as stated is the "Shelby/Ford" factory scattershield. You
want the Shelby Mustang 6 bolt engine scattershield not the Shelby Cobra
5 bolt engine scattershield. The 5 bolt Cobra scattershield only has one
transmission bolt pattern.

I don't think FORD
ever made a bellhousing that will fit both a 5 and 6 bolt engine.
FORD made a bellhousing with a dual bolt pattern for the transmission
and I have never identified that part number.
