A bit more than 33 years late, I think the Watt's Linkage was invented
by James Watt of the original steam engine fame.
The piviot point of the linkage defines the roll center of the rear end.
Some people have attached a mounting plate to the differential that has
several holes in a vertical line. The piviot point is attached in one of these
holes. These holes allow the roll center to be located higher or lower as
desired.
If you truly came up with the design for the Watt's Linkage on your
own, then congradulations. Keep up the good work ( maby out how to
solve the ackerman problem on a Tiger).
