Martin, My Mk1 has bents fitter and the anchors are mounted according to
the following:

The center mounts are about 2" forward of the vertical wall at the front
of the rear shelf, and about half way up the curve of the tunnel.

The outside mounts are about 3" in front of the wall and about 4 inches
inboard of the inner sill.

I can't recall if the mounting holes were ever there in the first place
but this positioning seems to work for me.
