Chris,
My question would be, "What car equipped with HS2's used a cable.  All
the US ones had the rod that pushed the linkage between the carbs up
from below.

That being the case, I fabricated a bell linkage from drawings in the
Haynes manual to create a place to mount a cable that was made for US
1500's (single ZS).  I had to clip the end off the cable and install a
different style of end so that I could adjust the cable.
