I did my '75 Spit in Tigerwood last summer and just
did my 73 GT6 in Birdseye Maple.  I brushed on the first
two coats of UV resistant Polyurethane to get it down
into the wood.  I then sprayed the remaining 10-15 coats
with one of those little pressurized spray bottle from
the hardware store (Presol..Preval sp??) something like that
anyway...easy..cheap..great results
