Dear Spitsters -
I recently installed a J-type O/D in my 74-1500. New clutch (20 spline
type), rebuilt clutch master and slave with DOT 5, and Mobil 1 synthetic is
the tranny. The O/D seems to slip in 1st and 2nd as the RPMs come up. Does
not do it every time. Quite inconsistent. Any experience out there with
O/Ds that would explaine this. I am quite sure the slipping is not the
clutch. Not clutch like at all.
