Howard,
The best thing to do is collect all the other numbers (Engine, Body, Gearbox,
Diff, frame) and send off for a BMIHT certificate asking
specifically for the correct commission number. Then with that in hand, apply
for an amended title and buy a reproduction commission
plate and have the correct number stamped onto it.
