While I am an American, I can also speak German as I lived there for
a while.

Obgleich Ich ein Amerikaner bin, spreche Ich auch Deutsch. 
Ich lebte eine kurze zeit in Deutschland und jetzt hoere Ich oft
ORF Salzburg oder ORF Steirmark auf dem Internet.

And while my German may be a bit rusty, even I know the only thing
Babelfish is good for is a periodic laugh.
