Terry, I would be sure that the timing is properly adjusted.  That sounds
like it is off of several degrees.  Warm vs. cold===I would check to be sure
there are no vacuum leaks in the system with mighty vac, etc and that the
vac. advance isn't going crazy, somehow affected by heat in ways yet unknown
unto me.
