I never had problems with rodents (at least the 4-legged kind) until
November. That's when my companion of 20 years left this world. Cilcy the
Siamese came home with me in my Spitfire in 1980. Lightning my white cat
died in October at 16 years old. This is the first I have been without at
least one live cat since 1954. Less than a week after they were gone we had
mice enter the house. To top it off, the starter in my Jaguar froze up in
November as well. The S-type's my only cat now, but once I get a couple
spits restored, I'll have the time to spend with a new kitten or two. Rat,
chipmunk, shrew, squirrel; they keep their distance. Adopt a cat. The mice
are gone.
