Brake Rotor Suggestion

Anyone have any suggestions for a good front rotor replacement?
Since it appears that the stock rotors are going to cost anywhere from
$60 to $100 for the set. I'm thinking if there's something to invest
in the car, it would be the thing to make it stop.

I was wondering if anyone has found any
alternatives. Perhaps vented rotors that will fit a Spitfire? (Assuming
you can use such a thing on a non-powered brake system.)
