In addition, converting later (single rail) transmissions requires adding
an OD-specific top cover. I am 98% sure that the drive shaft was the
same length for OD and non-OD single-rail trannies (unlike the 3-rail
trannies which are different lengths). Can anyone verify, or correct me,
on this?
