I got rear ended in my '77 Spit (Arthur) when I lived in Italy. A drunk in a
big Alfa hit me as I was waiting to make a left hand turn. My foot was on
the brake and I was pushed about 15-20 feet, up and over the divider. His
Alfa was totally smashed while my little spitty only had a broken tail lens.
Thank God -and British Leyland for those ugly black stumps, eh?
