Dave,

The only purpose the PDWA serves is to warn you that you have a loss of fluid 
due to a ruptured line in one of your brake systems -- either the front or 
the rear. 

Ideally, it tells you this before you kill yourself.

Other than that, there is no reason to keep it. It you do remove it, though, 
be sure to retain the front to rear brake system isolation. Otherwise, a 
rupture in one half of the system will result in a complete loss of brakes, 
rather than in just the half with the line break.

If you want to keep it, but really don't like the looks of it where it's at, 
it could be relocated out of sight somewhere, even to the rear of the car, 
with no adverse effect on its operation.
