This question may show my ignorance.... Oh well.

Is there any reason why that break pressure warning switch could not be
removed, provided you could find a way to connect the lines back together.
Has any one done this?  It would be nice clean up that area a little.

If I am correct, our cars use a 3/8 or 7/16 bubble flare connections.  I was
dreaming about going to going to Aeroquip TFE hose for the clutch.  Does
anyone have any experience with this sort of operation?  It looks like there
are a number of different types of flare connections.
