Dan is quite right on this point. However, if you are making a new dash,
you could coat the plywood with epoxy (especially West System epoxy). Now
the plywood will NOT delaminate. Them glue or epoxy on a piece of vanier
and you have the best of all worlds.
I used a lot of the West system epoxy when I restored the wooden body tub
on my 65 Morgan.
