I want to thank every one that responded to my question about the front
spoiler.  I think I have one located.  My had just hit the curb too many times
to be corrected.  I thought about doing as John Suchak suggested and going with
the earlier valence - or even just leaving the spoiler off as it looks good
without it.  As a matter of fact I had to point out to some people that
something was missing from the front of the car before they noticed.  They were
British car people, however not later Spitfire people.

Atwell, Thanks for describing the panel that goes underneath,  I noticed it in
my Bentley manual, but I have never seen one on a Spitfire even though I have
looked at a few shows.
