I finally got home and got the parts car situation under control. First I
must apologize... I had thought that the diff and rear axles were going to
come with the car and I was mistaken, however the seller has several other
parts cars and I know for certain that at least one has a diff and if I
recall correctly the rear axles. By way of atonement for my false
advertising I will check on the prices and shipping for these parts if
anyone is interested. Now onto the parts!
I currently have the following in my possesion and available for sale from
a 1978 Spit:
Grill
valence pieces (on side of grill)
Front signal light assemblys (less lenses)
complete front suspension
steering rack
front anti-roll (anti-sway) bar and hardware
2 doors in good shape with glass and regulators (no interior trim)
trunk lid (an approx. 9" patch of surface rust will need to be cleaned to
bare metal, I'll send a picture if interested)
trunk hinges
soft top frame (good, has some surface rust on edges of bars but could be
easily cleaned)
rear view mirror and base (fair condition)
2 seat belt assemblys (fair condition)
fuel gauge (intact, I'll test if you're interested)
temp gauge (ditto)
fuel tank
rear body clip (fenders and trunk in good condition, rear deck has some
surface rust)
front calipers (rebuildable)
front discs (will require turning, if interested I will have them checked
for thickness and turned)
driveshaft non-od (u joint on one end cv joint on the other)
complete lumenition system (known good)
carbon canisters (is there a way to test these?)
2 rear side marker lights (complete)
rear bumber(in very good shape)
2 rubber bumper guards
