Hurrar, celibration, much drinking.
My Spitfire officialy has 4 wheels on the ground. I took the day off
work yesterday, and got the suspension back together, and the wheels on
the car. Jacked the car up, removed the axle stands, tuned the screw on
the jack which lets the oil out of the piston.
All I have to do now is do up all the nuts on the suspension to the
correct tourque. Fit the steering rack. Refit the radiator housing,
make up some new side valances. Weld the anti-roll bar atacment bit,
and refit bar. Put the bonnet on, with the side valiances. Replace the
rear shocks, bleed the brakes. Insurance, tax drive for four days, and
then the MOT.
