I've got a 1975 spit 1500...
Just removed the body to allow me to complete the rebuild..
Have had a quick look around the diff now that it is easy to get to...
Looks as though there has been some oil leaking from the nose of the
diff...
Are the oil seals easy to replace...
I've read that the there are two types of diff on the spit, and that
one type (the compressable spacer type) is tricky...
Anyone any experiences?
Also is there any thing else worth doing while the body's off, appart from
new spring and a close look at the uni-joints..
Cheers for any help
