My Lincoln PowerMig 300 doesn't have a purge setting but it does have preflow - two seconds of flow before the wire feeds - so by setting the wire feed down as far as it will go and pulling the trigger and then releasing it after a second - repeat four or five times - the plumbing is purged - I get to double check the flow on the gauge - and either zero or very little wire is wasted. _______________________________________________ Support Team.Net http://www.team.net/donate.html Shop-talk mailing list http://autox.team.net/mailman/listinfo/shop-talk http://www.team.net/archive |
