Make sure that the blasting media you buy is stored in a dry place, 
preferably indoors. A little moisture in the media (or in the rented 
equipment) will give you fits. Many blasting contractors will leave a 
light bulb burning in a large blast pot overnight, so that moisture 
doesn't collect from the morning dew.
