I have the same problem.  entry to the shop is uphill, sandy, with only a
4-ft slanted apron into the bay door.
On my stock-bumpered IT cars, I just nudge 'em inside with the van.
I've moved several in and out by myself this way.

You might think along the lines of a quick-release nerf bar,  to mate with
it's counterpart on the vehicle providing the motion.

I've considered the porta-pull/come-along thing, but it would take several
steps due to the length of available pull. Also, the angle is all wrong
until it's almost inside. If I could anchor somewhere about a foot off the
floor at the far end away from the door, I'd put a 120V winch there.
