Since you describe it as a slight uphill grade, I'd think winches and comealongs would be overkill. I'd use block and tackle instead. It's cheaper, easier, and more versatile. You could use a single pulley at the shop wall and have another car pull the first one in. Or you could use several sheaves, and stand there in the shop pulling the ca in by hand by quickly pulling the rope hand over hand. /// /// shop-talk@autox.team.net mailing list /// |
