It was right in the subject heading, but I didn't notice till afterwards that 
you were
dealing with the newer Saginaw transmission OD unit.  I have the earlier Borg 
Warner OD.
 They are supposed to be so close that some parts interchange, but I don't know 
details.

There are some web sites that can help with the ODs; once I started looking at 
my
notebook, I found the following:

and find two articles there, one on OD overhaul and one on wiring/control 
schemes for
the OD.
